If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

01-02-19 Summer is a 1 year old poodle cross who has come to us from a breeder. She has not been handled much and is a scared girl. Summer needs TLC and another dog to help her learn about humans and their love of dogs. She has never lived in a home so will need to learn about house training and lead walking etc and will need a home with at least one other dog to help her.  Though a bit of a project, she will reward you as you see her change, but this does need patience and understanding. Please give this puppy a chance

21-03-19 UPDATE

Summer is a very timid little girl who currently isn't too keen on being handled, although we are working on this by handling her regularly throughout the day. She is in the early stages of harness training but does find it scary at the moment. She gets on well with her kennel mate, Ben. Summer would need another dog in her new home and no children. She is going to need to be shown everything as she really doesn't know what it's like to be a 'normal' dog.... yet.

26-03-19 UPDATE

When I met Summer today she was already wearing her harness, we attached leads and along with her kennel friend Ben, we left the kennels. Summer is relatively new to lead walking so we made slow progress, she gained confidence from Ben. Once her feet touched grass we witnessed an amazing transformation, she rolled amongst the dandelions and was very happy with the sun on her little body. After a while we were left alone as Ben and his handler were needed elsewhere, Summer found it difficult being without a canine companion, so I scooped her up in my arms where she snuggled in and we spent some time exposing her to the sights and sounds of what is currently to her, a 'big scary world,' she coped well with the comings and goings of our busy car park.
This little girl is delightful, with gentle caring hands she will continue to blossom in becoming the dog that she should always have been.

I am in foster and have been for just over a week. I am learning to be a bit more independant without relying heavily on my friend Ben. I like the sunshine and flowers and I am learning new skills everyday . I need humans that will be kind to me and take things slowly so I can really learn to trust them. I will need another dog in my new home to give me guidance . I like humans very much but am a little nervous around men but I am learning to trust them . I will need two good walks a day . I sleep all night and will be a a lovely dog. If you think I may fit into your family then please apply for me.

I am learning all about life in a home and loving it. I am very good and house training is coming along. I sleep in a crate all night and love my food. I have a boyfriend called Rhubarb (it used to be Ben the shih tzu cross but he went to his new home this week).  Rhubarb is in foster like me so we stick together. The other dogs are kind to us as they used to be ex breeders but now their home is here. I want a home of my own too. You could adopt me and Rhubarb together but if you have a kind dog then I don’t mind learning from them.

18-06-19 UPDATE
I have been with my Fosterer for five weeks now and I am learning the ropes so as I can learn to be a pet. I am a sweet girl who is very quiet and enjoying the luxuries that living in a home brings. I am walking on a harness but need a lot more practise. I find being outside in public places very scary but my foster Mum tells me I will soon enjoy it. I need a home of my own now so my family can join me on my journey of learning. I need another resident dog that is kind and a family that will love me like my foster Mummy does.

Here I am settling in with my friends!  I am the dog sitting bold upright . I am doing well but need a home to call my own.
Have you a kind dog that would share your home and love with me? If that’s yes then apply for me.
It’s taken a long time for me to come out of my shell but I am getting there now! I am learning to walk on a lead I don’t like it yet but will do soon. I am learning to trust humans. I like women best as men scare me still. I sleep all night in a crate and love my two meals a day.

07-08-19 UPDATE
I am settling into pet life and am gradually learning to trust humans. This has taken a lot of time and who ever adopts me must realise I am a work in progress. My two foster friends have gone to their new homes but I am still waiting for my own family . I am still nervous walking on a lead but that will get better in time. I sleep in a crate all night and love my food and if it’s dished up late I can be a bit vocal to remind my foster Mum it’s dinner time. I need another kind dog in my forever home to show me how to be a pet and to snuggle up to . If you think you may be the home I am looking for then please apply for me . I am stunning my Foster Mum told me!
