11-04-2019 Baba has arrived here from a kill shelter in Romania.  She has witnessed some horrendous things which have left her extremely  nervous of people and she will snap to get you away from her.  Baba will need a very experience home who have had scared doge before and where there are no children.  At the moment she freaks out when on the lead but we will work on that and gain her trust but her new owner must be prepared to continue this and help her adjust to life in a home for the first time.  Baba will have no idea about house training or anything about home life so you must have at least one other dog and the time, patience and love to help her.

28-05-19 UPDATE

Baba came to us in April from Romania she hasn't had a good life so far so is looking for a home where she will start living the life she should have always had.
When she first came to us she was quite a scared girl but she has come out of her shell quite a lot since then.  She loves treats and when she gets to know you she loves having a fuss expecially if you scratch behind her ear she would stay there all day if she could.
Baba does walk great on a lead now but she can get spooked quite easily with loud noises and cars passing by. She will need a calm home where she can learn that she is finally safe, a place filled with love and patients. She loves her kennel friend and will need a confident resident dog to learn from. When Baba realises that she can trust humans she is going to make an amazing companion and bring her family so much happiness.

01-06-19 UPDATE
Baba is a gentle girl but still nervous of people she doesn’t know.  However, once you earn her trust she will come to you with a waggy tail wanting a cuddle and fuss.  She loves a belly rub and  walks lovey in a lead.
Baba can still be a bit nervous meeting new bigger dogs but meets smaller or similar size dogs fine.  She doesn’t like cats and will chase them so Baba needs a cat free home.
Baba could live with gentle children who will give her space and time as she hasn’t lived with them before so they need to be old enough to understand she will need time to settle into her new world.

20-06-19 UPDATE

I remember when Baba first came in to us nearly 2½ months ago now, she was scared to the point I could not get near her to even stroke her to let her know everything was ok. It's taken time but now I only have to pass the kennel for her to start flirting with me. I do have evidence of this flirting please see pictures. She is such a lovely dog and will need time and patience but the outcome will be amazing trust me so with that in mind please help us find her forever home.

23-06-19 UPDATE

Baba is a lovely girl and I fail to see why she has yet to find her forever home. She has a lovely nature and is a happy little girl. Today I took her out to the field so she could sniff about and she had a great time running and jumping through the grass. She may be a little shy at first but once she realises you only want to cuddle her she's all over you! If you want this amazing girl to be apart of your family please put in an application.

17-07-19 UPDATE

I had the pleasure of meeting sweet Baba for the first time today. She’s a shy and timid dog, but also very gentle and enjoys a good fuss. At first, she didn’t want to come that close to me; however, after just a few minutes she warmed to me and allowed to me fuss her. Within 10 minutes, she came onto my lap when I stopped fussing her because she wanted me to carry on! With patience and TLC she will be a very loving dog who will provide great company. I’m so glad I got to meet her, she’s certainly put a smile on my face!

15-08-19 UPDATE
Baba needed a few days to get use to us and is shy with people initially but is increasing in confidence. She was house trained from day one and plays with all my 5 different dogs. Her fur is gorgeous and her colours are Carpathian Shepherd but she is small and lightweight.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
