30-05-19 - Rinks has been a breeding dog all her life. She has never galloped in a field or wallowed in the grass. She doesnt know how to walk on a lead or relate to a human. At the moment Rinks doesnt wag she just but we will do our very best to help her leave her fears behind and embrace her new future. She will need a kind dog in her new home to show her about house training and lend her some much needed confidence. Please help her.

16-06-19 UPDATE
Rinks is a beautiful ex breeder who how really come on since she first arrived. The staff have worked hard to bring her out of herself and now she is really calm and loves to play ball with her kennel friends. She will need a resident dog that is calm but that isn’t too in her face. She walks well on a lead but walks slowly and takes her time. She loves to cuddle and would make a great addition to a family.

10-07-19 UPDATE

Rinks is such a sweet girl and although she's still a little timid in some situations she is making progress. Rinks is currently kennelled with a little male Jack Russel and they get on well but do have to be fed on their own. Beagles can wait so long in kennels but they are such wonderful family members, she just needs someone to give her a chance.

05-08-19 UPDATE

Rinks is coming on leaps and bounds, shes such a joy to work with in the rescue. She has such a beautiful nature and is always smiling. Rinks has developed this game where she sings along with you, it's very amusing to watch.
Rinks walks alot better on a lead now, she walks so much more confidently and walks alot quicker as well. Rinks is always trying to sneak things back into her kennel when I'm not looking, she looks so pleased with herself when I discover what she has snuck in.
Rinks is still quite shy around new people but when she gets to know you she turns into an absolute darling. Rinks has been here a while now and I really cant understand why. This is a dog who would always bring a massive smile to your face with her funny antics, she is a dog full of character.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

Although RINKS is by donation rather than the full adoption fee, we ask for a minimum donation of £100 to help cover the costs that have been incurred. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
