07-08-2019 Linton is a male cavalier puppy was has come in from a breeder with a high grade heart murmur.  This is possibly a congenital heart defect  like pulmonic stenosis or patent ductus arteriosus and it's very likely Linton will need scans and possible heart surgery to correct this.  Unfortunately we also have his brother Loxley with the same problem and do not have the funds to be able to do the surgery so we are looking for an adopter who is in the financial position to be able to pay for this.  Please consult with your vet to get an idea of costs before applying.  We are also looking for a home without young children.  Linton is a delight and has no idea there is anything wrong with him so if you are looking for a little cavalier lad to share your home and can provide him with the care he needs, please put in an application form.

12-08-19 UPDATE

Unfortunately we have not had any applications that are able to offer Linton his treatment so we are now fund raising for him and his brother Loxley who has come in with the same condition.

18-08-19 UPDATE
Here are Linton and Loxley on their way to their foster home where they will be taken to see a specialist to find out what can be done.

26-08-19 UPDATE
Linton and Loxley have now both seen the specialist. Loxley is a candidate for surgery and this will be done shortly. Very sadly this is not the case for Linton and so we are looking to for a lovely home for him to give him the best possible life for however long he has.
The fund raising for these boys has been really wonderful and we are so grateful to everyone who has donated. As we can only operate on one puppy, if we have raised an excess of what's needed then we will of course refund anyone who has donated and would like us to do this. If you are happy for us to save the money you donated to help the next dog in need of specialist care then that would be lovely and very much appreciated as this is what Many Tears do and Sylvia will always take an ex breeding dog in need of specialist care and do her utmost best to get it the treatment it needs.
Thank you so much everyone for your kindness and support. Without you all none of this would be possible.

ADOPTION DETAILS
The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog. You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
