21-03-20 Cookie is an older girl who has come from a home through no fault of her own. She had lived in her home happily for 8 long years but her family had a big change in circumstances and could no longer keep her. Cookie is very sad and confused to find herself in jail and barks at us in an effort to be chosen and taken home as you can see in the video.  The video makes her look bigger than she is and she has lived with children over the age of 8 yrs. Cookie knows how to walk on a lead and she misses home life very much. She needs to be in a  foster or forever home as soon as possible as she knows all about home comforts and kindness. if you are looking for a girl whose heart needs to be unbroken, please consider beautiful Cookie.

03-04-20 UPDATE

Cookie is a lovely older girl. She’s fully house trained and loves going out on walks.  She is super fit for her age. Cookie has quite a quirky personality and she loves a fuss but she is a grumbler and talks when she’s had enough!
Cookie has been an only dog her whole life and here in foster she is living with other smaller dogs but she is very dominant so she needs to be an only dog. In this time of lockdown she’s the best companion and if you’re unfit she will nag you for a little walk and get you going. Cookie is a cracking little superstar.

The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog.
Large breed dogs over 25kg cost us considerably more  to spay and neuter so if you are adopting a large breed dog we would be very grateful of an extra suggested donation of £10 towards this increased cost to help us keep running.
If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation* and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
* Many Tears uses Vanguard to vaccinate their dogs.  However, this can sometimes be difficult to source at local vets so if you are adopting a dog or puppy that has only had one vaccination please be aware your vets may require you to start the course from the beginning.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
